The information contained in INOX installations instructions should serve as a guide only and installations shall comply with applicable standards, practices and codes set by local building authority and the South African Bureau of Standards (SABS). Installation, modification or repair of INOX’s corrugated stainless steel pipes shall only be performed by a qualified, licensed professional. Only fitting, O’rings and grommets specified in the applicable standards are to be used in conjunction with INOX’s CSSP. Precautions shall be taken to ensure that, prior to installation or during construction and assembly, INOX CSSP are not damaged or exposed to harmful chemicals.
When Installing Inox’s corrugated stainless steel pipes in one or more of the following environments: (a) underground (b) within walls (c) within structures (d) in coastal areas (e) corrosive settings, the following coating methods are required (i) PVC-sleeved or (ii) zinc-rich epoxy primer or (iii) thermally sprayed aluminium (TSA).

Warranty

INOX Systems warrants that its corrugated stainless steel pipes (CSSP) products conform to SANS 1689 and will be free from defects in materials and workmanship. Should any defect/s be discovered, the questionable product must be returned to the INOX stocking distributor where the CSSP was purchased. If, upon inspection, the CSSP proves to be defective, INOX will furnish a replacement, or, refund the amount of the purchase price paid for the
CSSP; the aforementioned are the only exclusive remedies for any claim. Moreover, in no event shall INOX be liability for any claims greater than the purchase amount and no charge for labour or expense required to repair defective goods will be allowed.

EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED HEREIN, INOX MAKES NO EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANT ABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

This warranty shall not apply to any products that are not installed in accordance with the applicable INOX CSSP Design and Installation Guide, or that are altered, repaired or misused, through negligence or otherwise, in a manner that, in the reasonable opinion of INOX, adversely affects the reliability or performance of the Product. Nor does this warranty cover replacements or repairs necessitated by loss or damage
resulting from any cause beyond the reasonable control of INOX, including, but not limited to, acts of God, acts of government, and acts of war, floods or fire. This warranty shall begin upon the original date of occupancy of a new building in which the Product is installed and shall extend for a period of five (5) years to the original owner, provided that the Product was installed by a qualified professional who is licensed to install water piping and who is a Plumbing
Industry Registration Board (PIRB) registered plumber. For Product installations other than new construction, this warranty shall begin from date of purchase of the Product from the INOX stocking distributor and shall extend for a period of five (5) years. If proof of purchase cannot be verified, the warranty will extend from the manufacturing date code listed on the installed Product(s) for a period of five (5) years. The forgoing is in lieu of any other expressed,
implied or statutory warranties, and INOX neither assumes nor authorizes any person to assume for INOX any other obligation or liability in connection with the sales of its Products.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL INOX BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
